welcome.
Iām Ana Tiruta-Haggstrom, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) on the pathway to becoming a Provisionally Registered Psychologist in Alberta.
I love helping individuals achieve greater wellness on a whole body level ā brain to belly, mental to physical. I aim to help clients gain a true understanding of the fact that the body and brain cannot be separated - your brain is your body. The health of one is always affecting the health of the other. Luckily, we have myriad ways to positively influence our mental and physical well-being, from nutrition, meditation, exercise, stress-reduction, healthy relationships, meaning and purpose, healthy thinking patterns, etc. I am here to help you work out your unique puzzle for increasing your happiness and well-being.
Also, I love love LOVE all things food - recipes, cookbooks, dinnerware, cooking, watching cooking videos, etc. My therapy practice blends two of my passions: food & nutrition and mental health!
