At Mind & Microbiome, we believe in a multi-pronged approach to mental health, based on the fact that your brain is an organ, constantly communicating with the rest of your body. When you learn to tune into the physical and physiological messages your body sends you, you will have a better handle on what both your brain and body need for optimal wellness.
Of course, like in classic therapy, we will explore the thoughts, beliefs, and issues important to you. You’ll also learn science-backed methods for improving your mental health from the body-up, through diet, stress-reduction, sleep improvement, and exercise.

So many things can cause anxiety - relationships, trauma, an overactive stress-response, etc! We can explore anxiety from a number of angles - looking at physical, environmental, and psychological factors affecting you. There are tons of tools in the toolkit for helping anxiety!

As a former bonafide perfectionist, I know first-hand how exhausting perfectionism is, and the ways it can negatively impact physical and mental health. Let’s get to the bottom of the thoughts, beliefs, and pressures keeping you stuck in the never ending cycle of chasing perfection. Spoiler: it doesn’t exist!
